Dear Patients, 

All too often it’s the practitioner who gets all the information about the patient, and the patient gets little information about the practitioner and his or her practice.  I would like to change that.

My name is Robert Allen Hecht Jr. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, I went to college at UNLV and in 1994 I moved to California to continue my education. In 1998 I received my degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic from The Los Angeles College of Chiropractic which is in Whittier, California. I have a wonderfully devoted wife Ashley, and two tug-at-your-heart daughters, Jillian and Taylor. In addition to my practice, I enjoy every minute I can spend with my family and I love to golf and scuba dive on occasion.

I originally was inspired to become a healing practitioner because my life was changed by a chiropractor. While windsurfing when I was about 20 years old, a surprisingly powerful gust of wind ripped the sail from my hands and arms then suddenly I felt an excruciating shearing sensation in my shoulder.  Afterward I couldn’t move my arm. I felt devastated. For weeks I couldn’t lift my arm above my head and I had constant pain and weakness in my shoulder. I remember tossing and turning every night without any relief, bringing me to tears, no matter how I positioned myself or how many pain relievers I took.

After 2 months of this agony I was finally told I needed rotator cuff surgery. Still with all the suffering, my body stiffened even more at the thought of an operation. I thought to myself, “How can this be?  I’m only 20 and other than this injury in great shape”. Then a caring friend asked me to see his “state of the art” chiropractor. I was willing to try anything besides surgery. Thankfully I immediately improved and after 3 months of monitoring and care I celebrated with a full recovery of my injury! I was simply in profound gratitude and awe at how much he had changed my life. It was then I dedicated my life to help others also find health and relief. I am so grateful I did so because I have been able to give relief and hope to those people who have been in unnecessary pain and despair. It has been very rewarding indeed.

 I believe with all my heart in the fundamental principle of alternative healing which is that healing comes from within you. By simply removing physical, chemical, and emotional interference from your nervous system, the life force that created you, can heal you. This allows your body to express life to its fullest potential. I believe with all my heart in how I practice and I am always striving to improve it.  I believe I give an excellent service for a fair fee.  I love to help people.  I want you to refer and continue to refer patients to me because everyone should have the opportunity to experience natural healing. Together we can feel the gratification as we help our loved ones regain their health and hope.

I established this clinic here in Southern California because so many people in this community also believe in a higher potential in life.  I even chose a location near an airport to be convenient for health seeking people from out of town. The whole purpose of this clinic is to give others the experience of living a life of ultimate health, a life free from pain, dysfunction, or dis-ease and without the harmful effects of drugs, surgery, or medication. What makes our practice so unique is the state of the art technologies we use. I have committed myself to stay on the cutting edge. Every year I take hundreds of hours of postgraduate courses to ensure the best results possible for all of our patients. My personal promise to you is that I will find the cause of your health problems and provide tools to eliminate your problems in the shortest time, or failing that, make a knowledgeable referral. In addition, I also promise to care for you with the same attentiveness and deliberation I give to my own family.
